I went to Walgreen’s on Tuesday and it was like my first day all over again because I hadn’t gone ever since last semester. There are two new people, Virginia and Brad. Virginia is from Philippines and she kind of old but really funny though. We were talking about sports and she said in her teenage years she used to play “casino” in school for fun. Although I have never heard of that as a sport, she is funny and sweet. She reminded me of my late grandmother. They are really nice and I had so much fun working with them. It was a really busy day. When I first got to work, there were a lot of prescriptions to fill but we made it through the day.
Omg!! Everyday I go to Walgreen’s I always learn something new and I’m doing better than the first day. I always have fun and I just love going there. They are really nice and helpful co-workers. They’re working hard back there, with a smile. The way they treat me make me feel like they care about me and want me to learn.
the other day i went to walgreens. It was so fun! it was busy and crowded. I noticed that there were about 3 new employees, i felt a little too much of prescription. Although there were too much, but i didnt want to leave i enjoyed being there.
I love going to Walgreens because every time I go down there, I learned something new. On Tuesday I went and it was sooooo much fun. The manager was there and they all were happy to see me back again because they haven’t seen me for so long. I usually go after track practice but that day I went at 3 to 8:30. That day was really busy so I had to fill a lot of prescription but it wasn’t really a problem for me because I missed doing it.
For me Walgreen’s is always fun to go. I went the other day and I had so much fun because Suzie was trying to teach me and Chase, the manager how to speak Chinese. We were just playing around because Chinese words aren’t easy to say. When we say them, they sound like we were making fun of her but when she talks her words sound so good, make us want to keep learning it. I learned that it’s good to learn other languages because you never know where you are going to end up. I would love to travel around the world, just to learn about other people cultures. Going to Walgreen’s has helped me learn and grow each day.
Last time I went to Walgreens was on Thursday and it was so much fun. You might think that I’m lying because it looks like there’s nothing really to do down there but I do have fun. I love helping people so when I have the time to do it, I just take the opportunity and do it because I don’t know what I would do without other people help so I’m going to do the same and help. I learned a new prescriptions name and it’s called Augmentin (amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium) Tablets.
* Augmentin - To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium and other antibacterial drugs, amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.
Mr. Chase always takes time to teach me about all different kinds of prescriptions, some calculus work and some chemistry. I appreciate everything the staff has done for me because I went there to learn and that’s exactly what they did: teach me.
I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to intern at Walgreens because it helps me know if I really want to be a pharmacist or not. Even though it’s hard sometimes and it got frustrated but I’m just going to stay with being a pharmacist because I’m ready to serve my community and touch people’s lives.
My internship has taught me the value of life. I learned that everything is possible if you just believe but most of all using your faith and have confidence in yourself. At first I didn’t know if I can do the pharmacy but when I started it, I see that’s what I really want to do and help people around the world.
As a pharmacist, you'll use your extensive knowledge of how each of hundreds of medications works to fill prescriptions and advise patients on how various drugs ought to be taken. It's a hard job but i think its really good because you helping others and that's what really matter.
Going to Walgreen's has taught me how to teach myself, since there are always so many things to stay up on in pharmacy. It’s also inspired me to always challenge myself.
