In class this past week I got to learn about the usage of credit cards. I already knew a lot about them because my parents got me one so that I could use it when I really needed to. I also got to make a vision board to show things I would like to have and like to achieve when I get older.
Last week I got to learn about colleges and how getting into a sorties could really hurt you or help you. By you getting into one then you can experience new things get new friends. But there is a down side, by being wit hall your new friends you could develop drinking problems and also too much partying could effect your grades.
Last week I also got to go around the school and run some errands. I also got to learn about everyone’s dreams that they want to do when they get older. They got to talk to the class about the things they want to accomplish and buy when they get older. I also got to learn how to act towards teachers for them to let you turn an assignment late. You have to be nice have good tone and good timing when you are talking to them.
In Colligans I got to see the object that our graduation letter will lie on June 5th 2010. It was crazy to be setting them up because in not to long I will be holding it in my hand and be walking across the stage and being able to know that all that hard work during school paid off. I am so excited and being able to see them and read the letter that lays inside of them really just got me thinking wow I am going to be a freshmen in college sooner than I think and it was an amazing feeling.
Colligan had me run around and bring passes to students. It makes me feel awkward walking into teachers classrooms that i do not really know but after doing it for so long i have gotten used to it. I also helped Julia put up posters and clean up the room a little bit. I was not too much fun but it was nice to just walk around and maybe see my friends who are skipping around.
I got to help Julia and Jessica go and talk to publix about the food that will maybe be served in our luncheon. when we went to publix the man said that he was not sure if we would be able to get anything from them because people tried to get a lot of stuff from publix and now anyone who would like to have pubix help them out has to call there main office and tell them for what and they will make a decision. Finally we called and we got some money to help out the luncheon that we are going to have for the sponsers.
