Today when I got to Cranberry the kids were at the play ground because the past two days it was raining and they didnt have recess, after that they came back, cleaned up and went to specials, came back from P.E and worked at their math centers, I walked around helping the groups out. After this they cleaned up, got their hw, packed up. After everybody was packed up they sat and listen to the teacher read a few chapters out of their class book.
Today when I got to cranberry they were playing a math game, the game was all about number recognition. Then they cleaned up and went to P.E. When they got back they finished playing their games. Packed up and watched a brain pop video, Until they left
Today when I got their they were working on independent math work, I walked around and helped them. Today for specials they went to music, when they got back from muisc they finshed their work and sat down and listened to the teacher read out of the class book. Then they packed up and left.
Today when I got their they were making valentine hearts that had math problems on them to hang in the classroom, the kids had alot of fun making these, then they went to P.E, when they came back they hung them up in the classroom. Then they packed up and sat and watched a video, until the bell rang.
I only went one day this week because I was out of school.
Today when I got to cranberry they were finshing up their math packets, I walked around the room to see if they needed any help. Then they went to P.e, while they were at p.e the teacher and I came up with a wrtiing promt, that they were going to write about. Its been so long since I was that young, iI had forgotton how simple structured their writing is. When they came back frome P.E, she made them sit on the floor in fromt of her back bored and she told them that we were going to write about the importance of books. Today all they did was give ideas, and then come up with their main three topic points. After they did this they went back to their sit and copied them down on a lined sheet of paper, turned it in. then packed up and sat and listened to her read Super Fudge, until the bell rang.
Today when I got to Cranberry, they had moved her recess to a later time, so half of her kids were outside and half of her kids had no recess and were sitting inside working on make up work. When the kids got back from recess, they went to Art today. While they were at art, the teacher and I went to a first grade teacher meeting, they talked about school supplies they should ask for parents to bring next year and things they can do without. After this we went and picked the kids up from art and went back to class. They started a new science unit on habitats, they watched a video and wrote down notes, things like what makes up a habitat, and what are different types of habitats. Then the drew a picture of one and turned it in. Then packed up and went home.
Today when I got to Cranberry the kids were out on the playground. When they came back in they cleaned up and went to P.E. When they came back from specials they worked on their project about why habitats are important to the world. I walked around admiring the different groups work, then they cleaned up, packed up and sat and listened to the teacher read Super Fudge until the bell rang.
Today wasnt much fun when I got their the kids were having in door recess because the weather wasnt very good. After this they went to music, when they got back they watched a movie until the bell rang.
Today when I got to Cranberry they were starting a new unit in math today, they started geometry. The kids seemed to be having fun disqusioning between the different shapes and the important things about each of the shapes. AFter this they went to their math center. Alot of their centers were new geomtry centers and they were very excited to go to them. After this they cleaned up and went to P.E. After they cam eback from P.E, they colored a picture of the cat and the hat, for Dr. Seues birthday after they colored it they cut it out and glued him togther and I stabled them on the wall, the kids were excited to see their picture go up on the wall. Then they packed up and left when the bell rang.
Today was Dr. Seues birthday, the kids were having alot of fun today. In the moring they had green eggs and ham, so when I got their they all had to tell me about their eventful moring. Then they cleaned up their messes and went to science for specials. While they were at specials I graded some of their reading packets, I cut out vocabulary words for the spelling center and cut out other things for the reading center. When the kids got back from specials, they weren't aware of their suprise that day. When they found out that the assitent principal was coming dressed up as cat and the hat to read a Dr. Seues book to them, they really enjoyed the book and they really got into it. When he asked them questions on the different words in the story everybody raised their hands at once to answer. After he left they were sad to seem him go but it was time for them to pack up and get ready to go home.
Today was kinda boring when I got their they were out at recess, they came in got all cleaned up and went to specials. When they got back from specials they finshed up their math packets and then they put away their stuff, packed up and sat and listen to the teacher read from their class book. Until the bell rang.
Today when I got to cranberry they were experimenting with measurements. By using rice and other things to see how many cups it takes to fill the object. It was interesting watching them get excited about measuring. Then they cleaned up and went to p.e. After P.E they came back and sat and watched a bill nye the science guy movie until the bell rang.
Today was a crazy day, when I got there the kid were out on the playground, they had made butterfly kites, alot of them were flying them around. Then they went inside and got a drink and went to art. While they were at art, Mrs Brunson and I went a teacher meeting. It was the first grade team preparing for next year. Then when we picked them up for art, we went back to the class and they packed up. Mrs Brunson had to leave early for an appointment, so we combined her class with the class next door and watched a movie, this is where it got crazy because there was like 40 first graders in one classroom but after awhile they settled down. Then when the bell rang the teacher and I walked them to the buses.
When I got to Cranberry today, they were outside looking at these beads that go from clear to a color, when the sun hits them. The kids were so fasintated that beads changed colors and they kept asking how they could change from the sun. Then we went back inside and got ready for specials. After they got back from specials, they were awarded a pizza party. So we took the kids down to the cafertia and they each had a slice of pizza and a soda. They were jumping off the walls the rest of the day from the soda. Then they came back to class finshed up their centers, packed up and sata nd listen to her read charlie and the chocolate factory.

Then they went to specials, while they were at specials I helped her start taking stuff down off the walls, getting ready to wrap up the end of the year. Then when they got back from specials, I had brought cupcakes in for my last day. They got cleaned up and I gave them a cupcake and they did a word search. Then they packed up and sat and listen to her read for the last ten minutes of class.
