Using flashcards has helped me study over the years. It challenges me to remember and read off the card word for word. It easy to use becasue you just flip through them. It's like a game in a way. Plus you can switch up the method, like for vocabulary terms you can read the definition first and guess the word and then even the opposite.
One study habit that has helped me over the years has been flash cards. It is easy in a way because its quick and fun. It forces you to memorize what is on them. Also , you can use them in any class.
One habit that has helped me over the years is used my note on my tests. It is really helpful beacuse its quick and gave me the chance to have a better grade on the tests. Also gave me the opportunity to memorize what on them.
I'm gonna be honest, I never study for things. Sure I'll skim over notes five minutes before the test, but that is really the extent of my studying. The way I see it is, if I can get by with substandard work, and still get good grades, why should I change my habits?
In the words of the Reverend King, "If It aint broke, don't fix it" (I'm pretty sure he went on to say how our civil rights system was broken.)
Yeah, Trae and I are pretty much on the same page here; I never really study either. I don't think that I've studied for a single thing this entire year.
Usually, the information is easy for me to recall whence I am under the pressure of a pass or fail ultimatum.
Irregardless, I'm pretty sure that studying is only a tactic to stress one out even more. And as I try to avoid stress at all costs; studying is surely not for me.
Besides, I seem to do fine in school (that includes your class Mrs. Del Castillo). So really, I guess that the best studying tactic that I practice would be to not study.
A Study habit that I have is basic outlining of notes. I do a lot of notes in my classes but I really don't study, even though I should, I just have other stuff to do. I usually study when the teacher is like "Exam tomorrow make sure to study your notes tonight" then I go home and study for about 10 minutes or however long it takes to get through that pack of notes then study that morning in my car to refresh my mind for that day.
A study habit I have learned that helps me is repetition of speaking the information I need to know. I repeat the information five to six times and then move on to the next then repeat that five or six times. Then I go back to the first set I had to learn and repeat.
Honestly, I don't study all that often. When I do though, rereading my notes or speaking what I need to know out loud helps me a lot. By doing that, it helps me remember the main points of notes and all the stuff I need to know.
Like my most of my classmates, I don’t really study. For the most part, I just make sure I comprehend the subject initially and then when its time to test, I’ll scan what ever notes or resources I have just to refresh my memory. I agree with Cody that study induces unnecessary stress so I try to stay away from it.
One study habit that has helped me over the years has been the use of my written notes and the highlighting of important terms, phrases, sentences, and passages. However, the way I study for terminology would be self-assessing myself with the terms in algorithmic method(s). Sometimes, it seems like red font/studying late at night is easier to remember due to some psychological reasons. It's just a habit of remembering the information at first and then gathering all the information once again through the conscious mind and determining a clear, brief answer.
A study habit that has really helped in me over the years has been taking notes, highlighting and making outlines. These get all my thoughts together I knoe exactly what I have to study for the test. It calms my anxiety. If I don't study for a test I will do bad no matter how much i knew the material in class, because i second guess myself.
A study habit that i have found helpful has been flash cards. They help to memorize key points and vocabulary. Reviewing and doing practice quizzes helps alot too.Other than that i don't have any good study habits like i should.
I don't really have much of a study habit...but I still do good on tests :) I agree with Paige though. Flashcards help with memorizing vocabulary and sometimes they are easier to carry around than a book so then I'm more likely to study them anywhere when I have time.
I really don't have a study habit. I will look over the material the day of the test or quiz. Most of my teachers have me make outlines that are required for a grade, so it forses me to do the work. For college though I plan to work on this and get one.
One study habit that I have is to listen to classical music while I study. Listening to music like this really helps me to concentrate on the work i'm studying.
One study habit I have is to make flash cards and study off of them. It helps me focus on one thing at a time and it helps me remember the word or phase. I also use them to remember poems and math problems it is a very useful method.
I pay attention in class and take notes. A good study habit that I have developed is to keep a notebook for each class. That helps me review the material at night and to use notes on exams when the teacher allows it.
When it comes to studying luckily i have a photographic memory. My best way of studying is to memorize where everything is on the page and repeat it little by little in order in my head. sometimes if there are certain things i know im going to need to know for the test, i will take key words and relate them to the main idea and just memorize the key words
I don't have a study habit, I normally don't have to study for a class. I have quite good memory so I remember the information I'm given in class. But if I have too I normally just remember a sequence or things that relate to whats needed.
I don't really have a specific study habit, i usually just go through the material and whatever I am confused about i'll review. I wish I made a studying plan because then i would be more organized and not fail as many tests.
I don't have one specific study habit because I've never really been a study type of person. Since I haven't studied for anything this year, in the past I would just skim over the material prior to whatever test I have and that would help me out. Using flashcards for vocabulary is a helpful source that seems to make a difference for me.

(A little contradictive, I know)
